Unity of the Faith CMI – Scholarship Requirements
School Age Child Kindergarten to 5th grade
- The school age child must be a registered student at an elementary school in the Converse, Live Oak or Universal City area. The student must write a 200 word essay on the following Subject: Why is it important to eat lunch? It must be submitted to the following email only: unityscholar@gmail.com .
- Student must be documented and a citizen the United States of America.
- The student and parent/legal guardian or relative caregiver shall certify that the student authored the 200 word essay.
- Submission deadline is 9/1/17. The scholar will be announced 9/15/17 at the annual Unity of the Faith CMI Anniversary.
School Age Child 6th grade to 8th grade
- The school age child must be a registered student at an elementary school in the Converse, Live Oak or Universal City area. The student must write a 400 word essay on the following Subject: Why is it important to eat lunch? It must be submitted to the following email only: unityscholar@gmail.com .
- Student must be documented and a citizen the United States of America.
- The student and parent/legal guardian or relative caregiver shall certify that the student authored the 400 word essay.
- Submission deadline is 9/1/17. The scholar will be announced 9/15/17 at the annual Unity of the Faith CMI Anniversary.
School Age Child 9th grade to 12th grade
- The school age child must be a registered student at an elementary school in the Converse, Live Oak or Universal City area. The student must write a 600 word essay on the following Subject: Why is it important to eat lunch? It must be submitted to the following email only: unityscholar@gmail.com .
- Student must be documented and a citizen the United States of America.
- The student and parent/legal guardian or relative caregiver shall certify that the student authored the 600 word essay.
- Submission deadline is 9/1/17. The scholar will be announced 9/15/17 at the annual Unity of the Faith CMI Anniversary..
College Student Status: Applicant Awarded
- The student must be an accepted student at a college or university.
- The student must write a 1000 word essay on the following Subject: Why it is important to help others? It must be submitted to the following email only: unityscholar@gmail.com .
- Student must be documented and a citizen the United States of America.
- The student shall not have been convicted of any felony and the student and parent/legal guardian or relative caregiver shall certify such fact. If a student has felony charges pending, the student and parent/legal guardian or relative caregiver will sign a certification that if the student is convicted of a felony, the student, parent/legal guardian or relative caregiver will notify Unity of the Faith CMI, and the student will no longer be eligible for the Scholarship.
- A student shall have satisfied admission standards as determined by the attending college and must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
- Submission deadline is 8/11/17. The scholar will be announced 9/15/17 at the annual Unity of the Faith CMI Anniversary.
